Deep 02:47 video
You're the one who keeps the lights on As I float in more of the same Through the legs of the titans A vital part to the game ...In a bag left for us (Do we dare?) (Do you trust?) There's a light overhead We can see through the dust

Topsy 04:00
We don't have to stay my dear For it's the longest night of the year It's ok to bathe right here Tomorrow's the stage I fear We don't have to stay or go But this place is a mistake I know You can hang me up for hours Or hang me up for days I don't really hang out anyway Where's your love? Where's your love at right now? We don't have to say "I don't" Because I know we can go alone
3.
Hopscotch 02:59
The ball drops at a great time We'll take tomorrow, we'll take tomorrow fine As you fall off and forget how We'll take your money, we'll take your money now We take off and rent time We wake up with red eyes As waves hit your face in the morning We'll stay like the peace in this place It fills us with deadlines And creeps up at bedtime Death like your breath in the morning But stays like the weeks on your face
4.
Shark Water 03:56
They set us up just to fail And take the wind out your sail If you leave me here all alone Take a number as you go It's a good time to break, good time to break You can stand by or stand alone Please don't feed me to the animals You can cry until the cows come home If you can't break it, fake it But just make it on your own
5.
I cannot react I take it on myself Thinking of your hair I can't hold my breath I thought you'd be home by now If you could make up your own ending Would you write it down yourself? As I play guitar I pretend we are On a boat All alone Just making out I thought you'd be home by now You're home by now
6.
I need you And I'll sneak around just to keep you Now who needs more? You're always around just to keep score I can dig my own hole But you already dug mine You take all my dimes and all my free time But I want you They all feel my burns when I can't have you I can dig my own hole Make it with the grace of time
7.
Going Toast 04:20
You blink when the cupboard's bear It will fill up when there's time You think that someone cares But the problem isn't mine You hold your breath like there's help in death We are, They are We're on a tare and They are what we are Beyond repair I dare Take my steady hands They'll be anxious in due time Either teach this dog to dance Or take the party inside You say we're ruining their plans But the problem isn't mine

All songs written, recorded and performed by Patrick Bailey

SDR006

After a somewhat knotty hiatus, LoOmis is back with Shark Water. LoOmis is the everlong musical muse of Patrick Bailey, a prolific songwriter involved in much of the sounds generated in New Orleans since the mid 2000s, that channels hip-hop centered beats through ambient guitar work. Shark Water is the epitome of refinement in regards to the expansive catalogue of LoOmis. Bailey’s guitar tapping and ethereal chords are uncompromised yet yield to prevailing song structures, and poetically driven lyrics stretch across enigmatic swirling percussion. Despite the blunt nature of the project, LoOmis delivers an abrasive release that curbs affliction.
